When used under the supervision of a doctor or therapist, the WristRipper® can be effective as a Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation aid for:
|
Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI) Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Tennis Elbow, Tendonitis etc.
Other Hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow injuries
Post Surgical Rehabilitation
|
Most repetitive strain injuries to the lower arm are caused by a weakness or a strength imbalance in forearm muscles. This imbalance can put strain on the muscles, tendons and joints of the lower arm and cause inflammation. These areas need to be prepared for the demands we place on them every day. The WristRipper can help eliminate this imbalance by strengthening and conditioning the entire group of forearm muscles with a few simple exercises.
The WristRipper promotes Strength, Range of Motion, and Flexibility improving strength and circulation in the injured area. The WristRipper’s versatility allows for the user to perform flexion, extension, abduction, adduction, pronation, and supination movements.
“The WristRipper works great as a strength training aid, but it is also valuable as a pre-rehab (prehab) aid. Prehab is catching on in the fitness and athletic world by incorporating a variety of strength and flexibility exercises to help prevent and greatly reduce the chance of injury…Training with the WristRipper will strengthen the entire forearm areas while promoting range of motion and flexibility, reducing the chance of injury to the lower arm.”
